The Blue Caterpillar in the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland rendition is not too different from the original Disney’s film. Except that he is quite old in age, and he is portrayed by the renowned actor Alan Rickman. The Tim Burton’s Blue Caterpillar is named Absolem, and yes, he still smokes in the 2010 Alice movie. He now wears a monocle and he still has yellow spots all over his body.
