Tim Burton Dormouse Costume Alice in Wonderland

The Dormouse in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland 2010 Disney movie remake of the same 1951 Disney classic is certainly a large departure from the original character. Where the original Dormouse costume was a sleepy-headed and timid mouse afraid of the word “cat,” the Tim Burton Dormouse does not suffer from narcolepsy and is definitely not afraid of cats as he stands up to fight against a very large and scary cat, the Red Queen’s Bandersnatch. This shot from the movie of the Dormouse costume shows the little mouse’s fearlessness and readiness to fight, brandishing the teaspoon like a weapon. This costume requires a pink rob with a white fluffed bib. A white sash tied with rope is around Dormouse’s waist.
