Hades Costume from Disney’s Hercules Movie

If you’re in a villainous mood for your next costume/Halloween party, consider going as an evil Disney villain that nobody will think of… that’s right: the Hades costume from the Disney movie Hercules. It’s not quite as well known but still well known enough when you put on this costume. A blue wig styled like fire (remember his hair is a flame) and blue lipstick should be sufficient for your face. You could even opt for full blue body paint. This Hades costume uses a Roman toga outfit, except that it’s black and blue.

   Not the egregious foul it seemed to be in theaters, Hercules stands up as an entertaining spritzer of an animated feature. The continual peppering of in-jokes and cultural references becomes less irksome on video. That theres no majesty or awe invested in the beloved Greek legends also seems less of an error. Also on the plus side is the bounciest Alan Menken music since Little Shop of Horrors.    I was originally going to upload my review of Rudolph and The Island of Misfit Toys for this Christmas, but considering how horrible the quality is (I turned the sound up, it still sounds like crap) I decided not to.
