Arthur Costume from Sword in the Stone
Though just a boy, king-to-be Arthur does not yet know he will be ruler of the land as he touches the sword in the stone in the Disney movie titled the same Sword in the Stone. The Arthur costume is really quite simple, and would go great with a heavy sword like Excalibur to put on the finishing touch. Consider the great partner costume pairing by traveling with a Merlin costume (perhaps a father and son duo?) and you would definitely complete each others’ costumes. Put on a large red snuggie or poncho and throw a yellow scarf around your neck. If you can find the right leather boot/moccasins with some orange tights if you are so inclined, and you will be sitting pretty in a noble Arthur costume in no time, without too much work.

The last photo, of the cape, looks like a silk velvet, which you should be able to get almost anywhere, for $39.99 or more per yard.
The first three photos look like a raw silk shatung…but may be raw silk, instead.
Do you have a copy of the interview, does the designer give more information?
It may have been a custom made fabric, and in that case, you will not be able to find it!
